Profile

​Dr Shahul Hameed graduated in medicine from University of Madras and underwent basic medical training in Malaysia. He has attained MRCP(UK) and had been working in Fremantle hospital, Perth, Australia. Having gained experience and training in Internal Medicine and Neurology conditions, he joined National Neuroscience Institute (SGH) in 2005. He underwent further Advanced Speciality Training in Neurology and was accredited as a Neurologist. Thereafter, he was awarded Singhealth-HMDP  fellowship in Dementia and Neurobehavioural programme at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.Dr Shahul works as a Senior Consultant Neurologist in NNI(SGH) and as Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He was the Program Director of Neurology Senior Residency Program. His area of interest is Memory Disorders, Sleep Disorders and General Neurology. He is also actively involved in teaching medical students and other health care professionals.
