Professor Ng Wai Hoe is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at SingHealth and Senior Consultant with the Department of Neurosurgery at National Neuroscience Institute (NNI). He was previously Deputy Group CEO (Strategy & Planning) of SingHealth, CEO of Changi General Hospital, Medical Director of NNI, Academic Chair of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Neuroscience Academic Clinical Programme as well as Deputy Chairman of the SingHealth Medical Board.

Prof Ng is a neurosurgeon with clinical interests in neurosurgical oncology (brain tumours), stereotactic and functional neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery.

He was a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and underwent residency training in Singapore (NNI) and Australia (Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital). He underwent subspecialty training at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Children's Hospital in Neuro-Oncology, Toronto Western Hospital in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) in Paediatric Neurosurgery. He was also a Sugita Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Nagoya University.
