The National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) raised over $1.67 million through its 5th NHCS Heart To Heart Gala held on 15 November 2024 at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.
Graced by guest-of-honour, Mr Goh Chok Tong, Emeritus Senior Minister, the NHCS Heart To Heart Gala 2024 brought together more than 640 philanthropists, corporate leaders, healthcare professionals and partners in a shared mission to make a difference. Themed ‘Dream Beyond’, this year’s Gala embodied NHCS’ relentless pursuit of excellence in cardiovascular care, fueled by an aspiration to eliminate heart disease and a steadfast commitment to achieve this vision.
A Night of Generosity
The evening featured several highlights, including an exhilarating live auction, showcasing exclusive items and experiences generously donated by sponsors. Guests enthusiastically participated, driving up bids and significantly contributing to the funds raised. A dynamic power pledge session also allowed guests the opportunity to make immediate donations, further boosting the total amount raised.

Thanks to the unwavering support and generosity of all donors and attendees, the Gala successfully raised over $1.67 million. These proceeds will go towards the
NHCS Heart To Heart Fund, which provides financial aid to needy heart patients, supports patients who require novel treatment and are unable to undergo conventional therapy, advances cardiovascular research and enhances the training of healthcare professionals.
Leading the Way in Advancing Cardiovascular Care
A key moment of the evening was the launch of the
NHCS Centre for Advanced Metabolic Imaging (CAMI) by Mr Goh Chok Tong. This cutting-edge research facility is set to transform the understanding and treatment of metabolic health and its profound impact on heart disease. By leveraging on advanced imaging technologies, CAMI will provide new insights into obesity and metabolic disorders, particularly addressing the unique challenges faced by the Asian population.
Envisioned as a hub for innovation in cardiovascular care, it will bring together leading researchers and clinicians to collaborate and pioneer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies for cardio-metabolic diseases.
